Need to refresh or perfect your nursing skills?
Visionary Health Solutions offers a two-day weekend practice nursing skills lab. This class will be offered once a month. Saturday 8:30am-2:30pm and Sunday 8:30am-1:30pm. The cost of this class is $198 per person. This will be an opportunity for individuals to come and practice their skills needed to complete school or to perfect their current nursing skills under the direct supervision of an expert instructor.
Individuals can come and practice the following skills
PICC dressing change
PPE Donning and Doffing
Blood Glucose Checks
Assessment of Vital Signs
Hand Hygiene
Ostomy Care
Patient Care Skills
Preparation of sterile field
Gastrostomy intermittent feeding
Hemoglobin Checks
Head-to-toe physical assessments on adult & infant
Wound care
Catheter insertion on male and female
Medication Administration (oral, IV, IM, Sub-Q, intradermal, patches)
Trach Care
